509 GROVE STREET, East Lansing MI, September 26 1987.This was a house party in which The Blunt Objects played in the living room. It was kind of an invasion of the punk world into the "straight" world (which seemed to happen a lot with the Blunt Objects). The house was a bunch of clean-cut college kids having a party, and probably thought that they were going to get some warmed over versions of "Louie Louie" or something. Despite being told not to, The Blunts flyered excessively, and a huge storm of punk rockers descended upon the house. Artwork by Randal Huiskens.
